After a downturn in the last several months Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE)’s BIST 100 index showed signs of recovery in the past two weeks and reported the sharpest two-week average growth of 3.92% among the blue-chip bourse indices in the SEE region. However, that does not mean the period of decline is over for BIST 100 and the next couple of weeks will show if the current growth is a trend or just an exception.
The BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) continued its uptrend in the past two weeks, posting a two-week average rise of 2.84%. Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE)’s SOFIX was the third SEE blue-chip index to report a two-week average growth of 0.24%.
