After the temporary drop in the beginning of September, the BET index of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) continued its sharp rise that commenced in July and closed on Thursday at 6,069.17 points, its highest value since Apr 9, 2010. In the past two weeks the BET index recorded an average two-week growth of 0.37%.
Istanbul Stock Exchange’s BIST 100 index achieved the highest growth rate in SEE for the period with 0.42%, despite the moderate slowdown in the last week. The BELEX15 index of the Belgrade Stock Exchange (BELEX) and the SOFIX index of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) also continued the upward trend, marked by average two-week growth rates of 0.23% and 0.21% respectively.
The Zagreb Stock Exchange’s (ZSE) CROBEX index was the only one in the region to post a two-week average decline of 0.05%.
