Unusual hot weather in the first two weeks of October in most SEE countries caused a reduction of electricity consumption on an annual basis. Kosovo reported the largest decrease by 6.3% year-on-year, followed by Croatia with 4.3%, Macedonia – 3.9%, Slovenia – 2.1%, Greece – 1.7%, Hungary – 1.4% and Bosnia and Herzegovina with 0.8%.
In October Bulgaria and Serbia recorded a gross system load reduction by 9.7% and 6.3%, respectively, compare with the previous year.
